The T.R.A.D.E. Outreach and Evangelism Ministries share the Good News of Jesus Christ in creative ways.
Local Partnerships
Kimaya Elementary School became a partner of T.R.A.D.E. in 2015. We have been invited to conduct outreaches at the school on a regular basis! We are assisting this school with educational materials such as paper, pencils and art supplies. This partnership opened an area, known as Zone 6, to the Ministry. This increased our children's ministry impact to potentially 200 additional children.
This partnership also impacted our Sewing Ministry as we now provide uniforms and backpacks to the school population as needed. It should be noted that the entire school staff are attending a weekly Bible Study Group. In addition to Kimaya Elementary School, we help our kids who attend middle school and high school with computer and internet access for school projects, tutors (when necessary), and special project and testing costs.
We also partner with local churches, pastors, business and community leaders as well as educators.
Pigs for Pastors
We have partnered with Pastor Buford Lipscomb and Liberty Network International for a program we call "Pigs for Pastors". This program started in 2013 following our first meeting with our local Pastors in Gingoog City, Philippines. It was decided that through T.R.A.D.E. pigs would be provided to these local Pastors over the course of one year. The cost was about $50 per piglet.
This partnership has resulted in building relationships with many of the local pastors from various denominations such as the Baptist, Episcopal, Non-Denominational, Pentecostal and Catholic. This program has joined together many Pastors that would normally not associate with each other. This program has given these Pastors a practical way to impact their church and community as some are using their pigs as an outreach tool to reach the unsaved in their area.
Food Programs
We currently have a feeding program for the youth of the city of Kimaya, known as the "Chosen Generation". We provide funding for one meal per week and the youth do all the work, including cooking. We also provide snacks for the adult and youth Bible Studies each week.
Medical and Dental
We have medical and dental outreaches on a yearly basis with charts kept on each individual who attends. The Ministry provides medicines both over the counter and prescription, as needed. We purchase prescription medicine in the Philippines using local doctors. When necessary, the Ministry has stepped in and provided funds for emergency care. Dental care will be provided by a local dentist, with basic care provided. We provide fluoride treatments as well as toothpaste and toothbrushes.
Evangelisitic Outreaches
Outreaches include outdoor "Nights of Worship" and movie nights with the projector and screen provided by T.R.A.D.E. We partner with local churches for the purpose of follow up and discipleship.
Vacation Bible Schools
Our VBS outreaches are always a big success. Children and youth are taught the Bible and Christian principles that will help them to have hope and a desire to grow into the man or woman God intends for them to be.
