Teach to Recover And Disciple to Evangelize
The heart of T.R.A.D.E. is to provide pathways for the people of Mindanao. To recover from poverty and hopelessness through outreach and practical ministry that seeks to empower individuals and families through partnerships rather than build dependence.
Food Ministry
T.R.A.D.E., with the help of so many volunteers, donars and community help, we are able to bless our local communities with food and supplies. We take this time to pray, bless and tell them of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Livestock Ministry
T.R.A.D.E. Livestock Ministry provides a livelihood for local families by providing a piglet, goat, and/or chick to raise.
The cost of a piglet is about $50 and a chicken about $8. The individual is provided with information on how to care for the animal as well as given a contact for ongoing help. The animal is bred and the person in the program is taught to tithe one animal to their church, to give one to a neighbor in need (as a form of outreach) and to sell the others to help provide income for a poor family.
The "Pigs for Pastors" Program started in partnership with Liberty Network International. The program has drawn together local Pastors from many different denominations who would have never otherwise had the opportunity to meet and connect.
